About The Reserve Rooster

The Reserve Rooster is a connection, credential, and onboarding platform built for Canada's licensed childcare sector. We are not a staffing agency and not the employer of educators. Our platform helps licensed childcare centres find qualified supply educators for casual, relief, and short-term coverage — and helps educators find flexible, professional work in their communities.

Today the platform serves Ontario, with a regional service-area model designed to expand across Canada. Centres post coverage needs, review educator profiles and credentials, and build their own Reserve Roster of trusted educators. Educators manage their availability, showcase their qualifications — including RECE registration, Montessori credentials, and international credential assessments — and accept invitations that fit their schedule.

The Reserve Rooster is built and operated by a small team focused on improving how childcare centres and educators connect. We are currently running a founding pilot with a limited group of centres and educators to refine the experience before broader release. Centres remain responsible for employment relationships, payroll, and regulatory obligations; the platform exists to make the connection and onboarding process clearer, faster, and more trustworthy for everyone involved.
